About
Kheerganga is a scenic Himalayan trek in Parvati Valley, known for its natural hot water springs, lush forest trails, and panoramic views — a favorite among backpackers and spiritual seekers.
Kheerganga is one of the most iconic treks in Himachal Pradesh, located at an altitude of around 2,960 meters (9,700 ft) in the heart of Parvati Valley. The trek begins from Barshaini and takes you through enchanting pine forests, gushing waterfalls, wooden bridges, and remote villages like Nakthan and Kalga.
What makes Kheerganga truly special is the natural hot water spring at the top — a sacred spot where trekkers bathe and relax after the 12 km uphill journey. The spring, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, is believed to have spiritual and healing properties.
The meadows of Kheerganga are lined with colorful tents, local cafés, and stories from across the world. At night, the sky lights up with stars, offering a perfect blend of nature, peace, and backpacker camaraderie.
Whether you’re a first-time trekker or a seasoned explorer, Kheerganga offers a perfect mix of challenge, serenity, and culture — a journey that stays with you long after you've returned.
